Today has been a good day. I even went to the Ladies Bible Study this morning. It was so good to be with a group of women who desire to walk with God. We have been studying 'Becoming a Woman of Prayer' by Cynthia Heald and today we looked at the Lord's pattern of prayer. There was a quote by C. Samuel Storms which says so much I want to share it with you.
"...prayer is the expression of our dependence upon our God, our whole-souled reliance upon his power to sustain us, his mercy to forgive us, his bounty to supply us, and his glory to overwhelm us as we reflect on who he is."
